AUGUST 2010 WINERY SHOOT

A Special Location Class by Light Tec, Inc

When:          August 14, 2010.  10 a.m.  (Note:  This will NOT be weather permit; if it rains, we shoot.)  We are also visiting during their harvest so there will be fat grapes on the vine and special events.

Lodging:        A special Light Tec rate of $79.00 per night at the Comfort Suites Inn in Sherman, Texas.  Hotel reservations to be made directly with the hotel no later than August 1, 2010, at the special discounted rate; thereafter, regular room rates of $100.00 apply.  Mention the Light Tec Vineyard Shoot when placing your reservation.

Class Reservations:       Maximum of 15 persons.  Class reservations are required to be made and paid to Light Tec.  The class fee for this event is $135.00 per person until August 1, 2010; thereafter, the fee is $150.00.  At the time of reservation and payment, each participant will be asked for their polo shirt size.  Call 214/350-8990.

Events:          Even more special events this year - A busy day at a charmingly rustic and fully operational winery; shooting the actual harvest, lunch, a grape stomp, wine tasting, and a grape crush after lunch.  A catered barbeque dinner poolside at the hotel sponsored by Bogen Imaging; a raffle (must be present to win); a goody bag with some great goodies; and a relaxing evening away from home.

Special Events:   In consideration of Grayson Hills hosting this location event, each class participant will submit their top 1 to 3 images via Light Tec to the owner of the winery.  He will then choose the top three winning images for his exclusive full-usage right to use the images in his advertising and promotion program for the winery, with full photographic credit, of course.  The winning image makers will also receive from Light Tec a first prize of $100.00 of rental services, a second prize of $75.00 of rental services, and a third prize of $50.00 of rental services.

Equipment:   Please be sure to bring along a tripod in addition to your camera gear.

Special Note:    RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS ARE MANDATORY BY AUGUST 1, 2010, TO LIGHT TEC.  This event requires a minimum of 10 participants.  In the event that the minimum is not achieved, this event will be cancelled and not rescheduled.  If you have reserved and paid for your reservation and the event is cancelled, your fee will be refunded.
