Class I – Introduction to Lighting
A basic introduction to studio lighting equipment with emphasis on different operations and safety. One-, two-, and three-head shooting setups.

Class II – Introduction to Soft Lighting Tools
A basic introduction to softboxes, strips, and
octabanks. One- and two-head shooting setups.

February 5, 2010

Class III - Night Location Class - Long Exposures in the
Dark
Evening field trip to downtown Dallas
working with long exposures of the skyline. A tripod is
mandatory for this class. Meet at Light Tec
at 7:30p.m. for transport to several locations. Registration is
required. Class size is limited to 12 people.
Class fee is $75.00.

Class IV – Introduction to Hard Lighting Tools
A basic introduction to fresnels, microfresnels, and ellipsoidal
spotlights with application of special effects. One- and two head
shooting setups.

Class V – Location Strobe Lighting - Saturday
Downtown
Dallas outdoor
shooting in shade and mixed sun with battery- operated
strobes and fill accessories. Location shooting will
be
weather permitting. Carpool from Light Tec to location.

Class VI – Location Strobe Lighting - Saturday
Outdoor shoot
along Lakeside Drive near the bridge. Using on-camera
strobes with small umbrellas and softboxes. Location shooting will
be
weather permitting. Carpool from Light Tec to location.

Class VIII - Road Trip
A mock
commercial shoot at a Texas area vineyard.
More details will follow about this very special event.

Class IX - Strips and Grids (New Class)
A hands-on studio class in
controlling light sources with strips and grids.

Class X - Cool Lighting Stuff (New Class)
Working in the studio
with equipment you may have never used or seen before.
You must bring TWO compact flash cards with you.

Class Fees: Friday night classes are $60.00
per person.
Saturday location classes are $75.00 per person.
Classes are limited in size. Reservations are recommended. Please call 214/350-8990 or

Scheduled dates, time, or class content may change without notice.
Remember to bring your camera gear to each session - class
participants will be shooting in each class.
