SALES TERMS OF TRADE
Returned Goods
Most goods are sold without
return privileges. Returns on major items, such as flash equipment,
require prior written authorization from Light Tec, Inc.
Merchandise authorized for return by authorized personnel will be
accepted ONLY under the following conditions:
1.
Merchandise
must be returned in its original condition in its original container and packing materials.
2. Merchandise
must be accompanied by its original invoice.
3. Returns
will be permitted by only certain authorized personnel of Light Tec.
4. If
merchandise is authorized for return within ten (10) days of
purchase, a full refund of the original purchase price may be
issued.
5. If
merchandise is authorized for return within thirty (30) days of
purchase, a refund of the original purchase price less a twenty
percent (20%) restocking charge will be issued.
6. No
refunds will be given under any circumstances after thirty (30) days
following purchase.
There are no returns
permitted on film, paper, and other disposable items.
Returned Checks
A $25.00 fee will be
charged for checks that are returned to Light Tec by the customer’s
bank institution for any reason.
Special Orders
Orders for merchandise not
normally stocked at Light Tec require a fifty percent (50%) payment
at the time of the order. The balance of payment is due upon
receipt of the merchandise. Special-order merchandise is not
returnable. If special-order merchandise is not picked up within
thirty (30) days of notification of availability, the merchandise
will be placed in general inventory and the 50% deposit will be
forfeited.
Shipping
Orders for merchandise to be
shipped by methods other than normally used by Light Tec (i.e., next
day or second day air services) will have those additional shipping
charges added.
Sales Tax
Texas sales tax will be
applied to all invoices unless and until a properly completed and
originally executed resale certificate is on file at Light Tec.
Rental Terms of Trade
Rental terms and conditions
are published in documents and price sheets in the Rental Division.
These terms and conditions may be changed at any time without prior
notice.
Any of the Terms and
Conditions of Trade with Light Tec may be changed at any time
without prior notice and are published periodically and available
for review at Light Tec.
